go to bed, go to sleep

這兩個(gè)詞組意義很相近,但卻有所不同。
go to bed: 意思是“上床”、“就寢”，bed之前不能加定冠詞the，也不能加this、that、your、my等詞，因?yàn)樗枪潭ㄔ~組。在下列的固定詞組中，我們也不能加上列的詞，否則意義將要改變：get to bed，put to bed，take to bed，lie in bed，out of bed等。

go to sleep: 意思是“入睡”、“睡著”。因此，go to bed并不等于go to sleep.如所周知，一個(gè)失眠的人往往在go to bed之后過了很久也不能 go to sleep.
