Ramallah ( Pronounced Rāmallāh is composed of “Ram,” an Aramaic word that means “high place or mountain” and “Allah,” the Arabic word for God.) (literally "Height of God") is a Palestinian city in the central West Bank located north of Jerusalem, adjacent to al-Bireh.
